1. Overview
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for requesting refunds for course fees and services availed at Gram Seva Kendra. We strive to ensure satisfaction with our services, and this policy aims to be fair and transparent.
2. Course Fee Refunds
Refund eligibility for course fees is determined based on the timing of the request:
• Within 7 days of enrollment (before classes begin): Full refund minus ₹500 processing fee.
• Within 7–15 days of enrollment (after classes begin): 50% refund of the total fee.
• After 15 days of enrollment: No refund will be provided.
• Course cancellation by center: Full refund will be processed within 15 business days.
Note: Refunds are calculated from the date of admission confirmation, not the date of payment.
3. Library Booking Refunds
• Library seat booking fees are non-refundable once the booking has been approved.
• If a booking is rejected by the administration, the full fee will be refunded.
• In case of technical errors resulting in duplicate payments, the excess amount will be refunded within 7 business days.
4. E-Governance Service Refunds
• Fees paid for e-governance services (Aadhaar, PAN, certificates, etc.) are non-refundable as these are processed through government portals.
• If a service could not be completed due to an error on our part, we will re-process it at no additional cost.
• Government service fees are set by the respective authorities and are non-negotiable.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
• Step 1: Visit the center or send an email to gsktrust1@gmail.com with your admission details.
• Step 2: Fill out the Refund Request Form with your name, course name, admission date, and reason for refund.
• Step 3: Attach proof of payment (transaction ID, receipt, or screenshot).
• Step 4: Our team will review your request within 3–5 business days.
• Step 5: If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10–15 business days.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following fees and charges are non-refundable under any circumstances:
• Registration and admission processing fees.
• Examination and certification fees paid to third-party bodies (NIELIT, etc.).
• Library membership and seat booking fees (after approval).
• E-governance service charges.
• Course materials and study resources already provided.
• Fees for courses where more than 25% of the syllabus has been covered.
7. Refund Processing
• Approved refunds are processed within 10–15 business days.
• Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (UPI, bank transfer).
• In case of cash payments, refunds will be made via bank transfer; a cancelled cheque or bank details will be required.
• You will receive an email/SMS notification once the refund has been processed.
8. Dispute Resolution
• If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate the matter by writing to gsktrust1@gmail.com with the subject "Refund Dispute".
• Our senior administration will review the dispute within 7 business days.
• The decision of the administration regarding disputes is final and binding.
9. Policy Changes
Gram Seva Kendra reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Existing refund requests will be processed under the policy in effect at the time of the request.
